Populasi Muslim Terbanyak di Asia Tenggara pada 2024

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia merupakan negara dengan populasi muslim terbanyak di Asia Tenggara dan dunia. Hal ini berdasarkan Laporan The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre (RISSC) yang bertajuk The Muslim 500: The World's 500 Most Influential Muslims 2024. 

 

Dalam laporan tersebut, Indonesia tercatat memiliki jumlah populasi muslim sebanyak 240 juta pada 2024. Jumlah ini setara 86,7 persen dari populasi nasional yang totalnya 277,53 juta jiwa. Malaysia menyusul Indonesia, menjadi negara dengan populasi muslim terbanyak kedua di Asia Tenggara dengan 21,78 juta dan persentase muslim sebanyak 63,5 persen.
