SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Saat Ramadan, umat Islam dilarang untuk melakukan hal-hal yang memicu batalnya puasa. Seperti memasukkan sesuatu kedalam mulut baik cairan atau makanan juga sebaiknya dihindari.
Lalu, bagaimana dengan menggosok gigi yang biasanya perlu menggunakan air dan pasta gigi?
Dilansir dari NU Online, Syekh Muhammad Nawawi Al-Bantani menjelaskan bahwa berkumur dan sikat gigi ketika puasa hukumnya makruh.
Imam Nawawi juga mengingatkan sikat gigi saat puasa harus hati-hati karena jika ada material yang masuk ke tenggorokan maka puasanya batal.
Material yang dimaksud berupa pasta gigi, air, ataupun bulu sikat gigi. Jika terlanjur masuk ke tenggorokan meskipun dilakukan tanpa sengaja maka hukumnya tetap membatalkan puasa.
Maka dari itu, bagi orang yang berpuasa dianjurkan untuk menggosok gigi sebelum waktu imsak. Dan jika saat siang hari ingin gosok gigi cukup dengan menggunakan kayu siwak (arok) atau sikat gigi tanpa menggunakan pasta.
