BKM Instruksikan Masjid Sepanjang Jalur Mudik Buka 24 Jam

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Badan Kesejahteraan Masjid (BKM) menginstruksikan masjid di sepanjang jalur mudik Lebaran buka 24 jam.
Hal ini agar dapat melayani pemudik, utamanya bagi mereka yang mencari tempat peristirahatan sementara.
"Masjid yang berada di jalur mudik agar buka 24 jam. Berikan layanan terbaik bagi pemudik, seperti toilet bersih, tempat rehat, serta minuman dan makanan untuk takjil," ujar Ketum BKM sekaligus Dirjen Bimas Islam Abu Rokhmad, Rabu (19/3).
Hal ini pun sejalan dengan instruksi Menteri Agama Nasaruddin Umar agar masjid di sepanjang jalur mudik dijadikan posko atau rest area untuk mengurangi kepadatan di rest area, SPBU, dan fasilitas umum lainnya.
Para takmir masjid pun didorong untuk menyediakan fasilitas toilet bersih, tempat istirahat, serta makanan dan minuman berbuka puasa.
Sebelumnya, Menteri Agama Nasaruddin Umar menyampaikan rencana pemanfaatan masjid di sepanjang jalur mudik sebagai posko alternatif 24 jam bagi para pemudik Idul Fitri 1446 Hijriah.
Dengan adanya kebijakan ini, Menag berharap para pemudik dapat beristirahat dengan nyaman di masjid tanpa harus menumpuk di rest area.
Apalagi pada momen mudik, penumpukan di rest area menjadi salah satu penyebab kemacetan.
"Hal ini penting untuk mengurangi kepadatan di rest area atau SPBU, yang sering kali menjadi titik kemacetan akibat keterbatasan fasilitas," kata Menag.
