SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pegadaian holds the Ramadan Festival 2025, themed “Ramadan Cemerlang”, featuring 25 local MSMEs.

The festival is open to the public free of charge, offering a variety of activities, including MSMEs bazaars, gold bar and jewelry auctions, Galeri 24 jewelry showcases, Islamic lectures (tabligh akbar), talk shows, investment seminars, and entertainment.

Deputy Business Head of Pegadaian’s Kalideres Area, Suwarno, emphasized the festival's goal of bringing Pegadaian closer to the community, particularly in West Jakarta and its surrounding areas.

“We hope this event strengthens Pegadaian’s presence in the community, offering solutions for financial needs, business funding, and gold investment, which has proven to be safe and profitable,” Suwarno stated in a press release, as quoted on Antara, on Tuesday (4/3).

The Festival Ramadan Pegadaian 2025 is being held in 61 cities across Indonesia from March 1 to 17, 2025, with the West Jakarta event taking place at Masjid Raya K.H. Hasyim Asyari, Cengkareng.

According to Festival Chairman Adham SWS, the strategic mosque location allows for greater MSMEs participation and broader community engagement. He also expressed hope that the 25 MSMEs involved would become Pegadaian’s business partners, benefiting from government-backed Micro Business Credit (KUR).

As part of the festival’s MSMEs empowerment efforts, registered visitors receive vouchers redeemable at the bazaar. The West Jakarta event successfully hosted a Tabligh Akbar on March 2, 2025, attended by around 400 participants who actively used these vouchers.
