Jakarta to Implement Traffic Engineering around Shopping Centers ahead of Eid al-Fitr

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Jakarta Provincial Government will implement traffic engineering around shopping centers, mainly in three areas, ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H/2025 AD.
“The three areas are Tanah Abang, Kebon Kacang Thamrin City, and Glodok,” said Jakarta Transportation Agency Head Syafrin Liputo, Tuesday (3/4).
He also revealed that he would carry out traffic engineering after Lebaran in seven tourist destinations that are predicted to experience a surge in visitors. These locations include Ancol, Ragunan Zoo, Kota Tua, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), National Monument (Monas), and Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 1.
In addition, to ensure ease of homecoming flow, the Government has also prepared four main terminals, as well as three additional terminals. A Lebaran transport post will also be opened on March 23-April 8.
